Bionnay is all about roses. The French garden, planted exclusively with white roses, and the rose gardens each have an essentially feminine theme. Bacchus is the only garden with a masculine name. Perennials, clematis, irises and a small medieval-inspired herb garden complete the ensemble, which is structured by fine box hedges and topiaries. The 17th-century château, built of yellow Burgundy stone, shines like the sun on this romantically inspired estate.
