The church of Lamure dates back to 1864 and is the origin of the birth of this small village, which was only a large hamlet. Then with the establishment of the cemetery, a convent of nuns (now the public school) and merchants and artisans, this hamlet turned into a real village. Prior to his construction, the faithful went to the mass at the Saint-Apollinaire Chapel.
