INTERSTISS
Interstiss is the specialist in digital printing and Jacquard weaving. Its range of products is certified as Origine France Garantie.
History. Interstiss was created in 1997 by Pierre Brunier, in the heart of a region with a long textile tradition. In 2001, the company acquired its first digital printing machine. In 2006 and 2007, it acquired Vrau, Gilbert Tissus, Start and Coval. In 2010, it consolidated its activities in Panissières, in the former 3,700 m2 Bonnassieux building.
Interstiss's unique know-how is linked to the most advanced digital printing technologies and Jacquard weaving. The company can print all types of fabrics (cotton, silk, linen...) in widths up to 160 cm. Whatever the customer's request (sampling, standard parts, mass production), production times are short. Drawings, archive reproductions, digital printing... everything is possible. Jacquard fabrics are available in polyester, acetate polyester and silk. Interstiss launches more than 250 drawings per year.
The products. Interstiss is also a creative leisure section (embroidery, cross stitch, canvas, embroidery canvas...) via the brands Brod'art, Margot de Paris, Margot broderie, Marie Cœur, Princesse, SEG de Paris, and Smyrnalaine; a sports and technical fabrics section (running, cycling, triathlon, football, basketball...) via the brands Kony, and Start, and a communication section (kakemono, banerole, flag...).
Employment. The company is located on more than 5,000 m2 of workshops in the Rhône-Alpes region and employs around ten people with a turnover of nearly 3 million euros.
