DOMAINE DUPRÉ
As we know, the old vines produce less, but the quality of the juices - and therefore of the wines - offers a texture and depth that the youngest plants can't match. Imagine an estate where a large part of the vineyard could lay claim to a great anteriority. Imagine a young winegrower who in just a few years has become a rising star in the Beaujolais region. Finally, imagine "simple" Beaujolais wines whose fabric is on first-name terms without blushing at many of the vintages. For example, the Beaujolais Terre noire, born at an altitude of 380 m, which revives the image of an appellation with a fairly wide quality spectrum.... A wine for laying down, this cuvée displays a fruity character but without ostentation and a nice length in the mouth. The whole is very pure, clean and balanced. The "régnié", especially the Haute-Ronze, have always seduced us in previous vintages and the latest versions are in line with the ambition of the estate. To sum up, these wines present themselves beautifully from their early youth, but they benefit from being forgotten for a while in the cellar
