Chez Pimousse has been owned by Pierre-Michaël Martin for over two years. In this previously little-visited district, Pimousse - as the chef is nicknamed - has naturally established itself as one of Lyon's leading bistronomic establishments. In a setting that skilfully combines the elegance of a former brothel (you can't make that up) with a more country feel, Pimousse's cuisine hits the spot season after season. Fresh, local produce prepared in traditional French recipes: the must-try hare à la royale (in hunting season), surprising scallops, pig's head stew and root vegetables. Confusing yet comforting, it's everything we love.
