LA PAUSE DU MYRLITON
Taking a break in Lyon is often enjoying a gourmet break. And when you are in the middle of the city, you should read the Petit Futé to select the right address to stay. Le Myrliton is a nice family story, as it is the second establishment of Patrick and Isabelle Raquin who is herself the baker's daughter, perpetuating the family tradition. At Myrliton, everything is attractive. Let's start with the decor that provides an amazing look to this high-end tea room, classified by Futé among the best in the city. Air-conditioned room, "off-beat" paintings on the walls, comfortable metal chairs and polished tables, everyone feels perfectly at ease to eat on the spot (or to take away), the sweet treats prepared in all transparency in the well visible manufacturing workshop. Nothing to hide for this house where the cakes are made in the old-fashioned way. Should we say that everything is homemade and that the products are of high-quality? This is obvious. Having a break on high bar table or seated in the dining room, food lovers enjoy a homemade pie, a religieuse, an eclair, crunchy biscuits, but also sandwiches, salads, quiches, pizzas, croque-monsieur or a hot dish of the day of quality and at reasonable price. A particularly Smart break.
