Founded in Lyon in 1979, the Académie de Ballet Nini Theilade is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. This internationally renowned school specializes in classical dance, but all dances are important to it: modern jazz, contemporary, character, baroque... Supervised at all levels by caring, state-certified teachers, children and adults alike thrive in every discipline. Registration opens in May. Possibility of dance-study from 6th to 12th grade. International workshop every summer and not-to-be-missed show at the Bourse du Travail.

A dance school rooted in history, founded 42 years ago in Lyon by Nini Theilade, star dancer of the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo from the age of 16, the Nini Theilade Ballet Academy welcomes you near the Opera of Lyon to share her love and passion for dance. Whether you are an amateur or pre-professional, adult or child from 4 years old, the academy offers you an artistic training in dance. Courses and workshops in classical dance, character, modern jazz, contemporary, free dance, historical dance, renaissance, baroque, XIXth ... Shows or open houses allow those who wish to experience the stage. Resident companies and a young Ballet are also there to offer and make accessible to all the Art of Dance. All the teachers, state graduates in their speciality, are waiting to offer you a free trial lesson.
