For the record, the merciers - who gave their name to the rue Mercière - have little to do with the haberdashers of today. Merciers were merchants. Populated by restaurants, rue Mercière is happy to welcome a sewing store, run by the charming and very efficient Lila. Perfectly equipped, she carries out meticulous work (hems, alterations, transformations, repairs...) within the day (allow 24 to 48 hours, maximum one week for "big" work). Lila also offers made-to-measure services, including curtains, cushions, fitted sheets...
