Each district of Lyon is in its own way a village. This is even more true for the Montchat district, in the heart of which an independent wine merchant settled 3 years ago: Patrick Desbat. With its exceptionally successful decor, offering a beautiful brightness and a large wall fresco at the back of the shop, La Cave du Village transports us to the world of wine. Patrick Desbat, a true wine enthusiast, was first trained in the field, with the wine growers (to whom he regularly visits), and in the excellent wine school of France in Paris-Bercy before opening his cellar. Result, 300 references to La Cave du Village, with a selection that will satisfy all desires, according to their budget. Wines from here, the region (Rhône Valley in the lead) is well represented, but also with a range of foreign wines not to be neglected. A Cellar that gives us a (good) reason to discover this neighborhood.
