LA VOGUE DES MARRONS
The Vogue des Marrons, a popular funfair, has been held at the Croix-Rousse for over 173 years. For families and lovers alike.
Fête des Marrons rhymes with tradition. Lyon's great popular festival was "officially" born in 1851, but existed long before that (as far back as the 17th century), to enliven the Plateau. For a month and a half, the Croix-Rousse is alive with bumper cars, haunted houses, caterpillar rides, a Ferris wheel that has returned to its place at the Gros Caillou and candy stalls that take us back to childhood. A Vogue - synonymous with a funfair if you're not fluent in Lyonnais - where young and old love to wander the aisles and smell the perfumes of yesteryear.

Hélas de plus en plus de monde. Il faut y aller hors week-end ou le matin des week-ends.
Attire beaucoup de monde et hélas l'insécurité y est grandissante ( de nombreux problèmes dans le quartier).
