LA CURE GOURMANDE
With its name, La Cure Gourmande takes us back to the years 1950-1960, during the blessed time of the local grocery stores, the biscuit factories, the "sucrecuiteries" and the beautiful tin cans containing perfumed treasures, offers one of these gourmet stops. A nostalgic shop for the greatest who has a little feeling to enter a "eco-museum" where you serves yourself; a "miraculous" shop for all the family who does not know any more where to begin as the temptations are numerous in this splendid decor. On and inside the solid wood furniture, hundreds of metal boxes with the colors of candy boxes containing many treasures. Just by mentionning the filled biscuits, the wonderful choupettes (lollipops made by hand in a multitude of flavors), the olives with chocolate, the fruity berlandises of Balaruc-les-Bains, the navette flavoured with orange blossom, almonds, lemon, vanilla or filled with chocolate chips, the mantecaos (typical fondant of Languedoc)... a pleasure that makes you salivate. And we haven't yet talk about the nougats, caramels, calissons and chocolates... It's a pleasure to share to go there not only for a "gourmet treatment" as its name suggests. We readily go there thanks to its adorable reception.
