From the station of Brotteaux and its amazing decor, we look towards Dombes and Bresse. A brasserie with a refined buffet station's setting with a small advertising train going around the room and many "attractions" which make this place a truly "different" one. One of the breweries at the cardinal points on behalf of Paul Bocuse and one of the most convivial. Chef Cyril Marlard prepares great classic with a Caesar salad of the East, a Bömlo salmon marinated in Scandinavian way, a very delicious homemade foie gras cooked in earthenware or the Lyon-style pan-fried thinly sliced veal liver, veal liver in Lyon's way, the Bresse chicken roasted on a pit, without missing the very traditional rum baba. A serious address as all the Bocuse brasseries.

Les plats étaient très bon avec des produits de qualité. Le service était un peu long mais c'était assez fluide tout de même. Par contre, la salle est assez bruyante.

Le lieu est très convivial et le personnel à l'écoute, souriant et très pro malgré une moyenne d'âge assez jeune! La cuisine (nous étions quatre) nous a enchanté et clairement il me tarde de pouvoir y retourner pour une nouvelle aventure gustative ! Top Le foie de veau, les poissons, note spéciale le vacherin, les gaufres à la praline....

J'habite à quelques pas et je viens donc dîner, ici, en voisin. Hier soir seconde déception. Une carte trompeuse annonce un velouté de moules alors qu'il m'est servi une soupe au goût indéterminable ne contenant que quelques moules. J'enchaîne sur un merlu à la chaire délitée servi dans une assiette décorée de coquilles de coques vides (authentique) . A la déconvenue culinaire s'ajoute une atmosphère incroyablement bruyante, un décor négligé et des toilettes sales. Manifestement L'EST est entrée dans un processus de lent déclin. Comme son petit train l'établissement est à l'arrêt.
