When a neighborhood café-comptoir near Charpennes is reinterpreted by a chef, Thibault, who has traveled and worked on yachts for years, the result is stunning. From the original bistro, Rascal has retained the charm of small-tiled floors and a pretty counter. The ground floor and first floor are bistro-style rooms, but the food is bistronomic. Adorable service to present a weekly-changing menu. Dishes from elsewhere, made with local produce, especially from the Ardèche, by an inspired chef in a kitchen open to the dining room and the world. A contemporary bistro, Rascal is a real treat. A favorite.
