BRYNE
Cool, friendly spot opposite the Madeleine barracks, serving homemade cakes and treats.
Opposite the Madeleine barracks, Bryne has rekindled our slumbering appetites. While retaining the charm of an old neighborhood bistro with its formica-colored counter and checkerboard floor tiles, Bryne Delicatessen has added a few shelves to display its homemade jars with tasty dipping accompaniments. It's a convivial place with a high degree of coolness, where the daily slate of hot sandwiches includes a well-executed Végé or a grilled cheese with Vercors blue cheese. Wraps, quiche and the famous side dishes complete the menu. A favorite is the choco/pear dessert. Home-made cakes and sweets, like these curries, to take away.
