There are two types of university residences: traditional and new. The first ones have unbeatable rates, but the comfort is simple. For 9 m 2 furnished with bedding and bleaching, 125 € per month with ESL possibility, rented for nine months (toilets, showers and kitchen on the floor). Seven traditional residences are located in the 3rd, 5 th, 7 th and 8 th arrondissement of Lyon. The new ones offer more comfort with studios from 18 m 2 to 35 m 2 (1 to 2 persons) fully equipped. They are rented over twelve months, starting in September (possibility APL, no housing tax). These residences are located in the 3rd, 5 th, 7 th and 8 th district, as well as in Villeurbanne and Marcy l'Etoile (reserved for students from the veterinary school). Housing applications are from January 15 to April 30 for the next school year. A unique file is to be taken from Residence.
