A neighborhood bookshop that offers a real place to live and meet people on the Avenue des frères Lumière. It's a warm, welcoming, human place, opened 28 years ago by a passionate woman loved by the whole of Monplaisir (and beyond), the lovely Christiane. It may not be the biggest bookshop in Lyon in terms of size, but it's the one that lets you enter the world of books through the front door. Christiane is a true storyteller: literature, detective novels, children's books, paperbacks, comics, travel guides, coffee-table books, essays, and school and university books are all available on short notice. Stationery and cards to suit every taste.
