LA ROSIERE
At the beginning of Rosières pond, this circuit crosses the hills dominating Ruy and Bourgoin-Jallieu. It reconciles nature and history by the wetland of Loudon, its bois and castles. It is ideal for cycling rides. The frame is very green with shadowy and shady variations. The longest route is 13 km. Four castles follow the course: Thézieu, Petit Mont (Ex castle), Rosiere and Champfort. These sites are charged with history with illustrious visitors such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau who walked in Rosiere to develop his herbarium. You will happily pass the wetland zone of Loudon which must be preserved. Look at the fauna and flora that are, in Rosiere, particularly rich (flowers, trees, squirrels, amphibians, insects, donkeys, geese, horses…).
