MARCHÉ BIO AMBROISE COURTOIS
In a "gentrified" neighbourhood (i.e. where the working classes have been replaced by more affluent classes), this so-called nocturnal organic market (late afternoon, even if 8pm seems late in winter) has naturally found its place within walking distance from the Villa Lumière and the nearby metro station. On the beautiful and large Ambroise Courtois square, the merchants of seasonal flavours gather in a corner to offer on their stalls products from organic farming: fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, fish, bread, small groceries, honey, wine. A godsend for everyone in the neighbourhood and a few curious people passing by.
