Restaurant offering a great wine list with regional accents in Lyon.
It will soon be 10 years since Le Tiroir opened its doors in the Grande Rue de Vaise, a place that has always been known for its love of good food and drink. Still a Bib Gourmand, Le Tiroir is in the hands of the excellent Rémi Charvet, one of the establishment's founders, and the equally promising Emmanuel Decloitre in the kitchen. The young chef perpetuates the tradition of a cuisine that emphasizes the product without distorting it. Warm surroundings, tasty seasonal dishes on a menu with regional accents and a "classic" Tiroir-style Charolais beef tartare. A superb wine list, also with a regional flavour extending to Burgundy. An address that's a cut above the rest!
