LE BRIC-A-BRAC
On an express condition that you don't fear the crowd, the five Lyon Bric-à-Brac of the Notre-Dame-des-Sans-Abri hall are a wealth for bargain hunters and the broke. The warehouse of Vaise is the largest and the best-stocked of them. In addition to the usual stocks of little worn (but not always!) clothes, you will find furniture, bedding, appliances in working condition (!), decorative items in the purest néokitch style, crockery that you can shamelessly separate, books... The whole is better presented than at Emmaüs: the clothing is on hangers, each section is structured like a small independent shop, thus you escape from the queue at the cash desk when leaving. Revenues from sales finance the reception, the accommodation and the accompaniment of people in need. Keep in memory that the sellers are all volunteers and that the prices are very low and not negotiable. To donate to the hall, contact the headquarters (3, Rue Père-Chevrier ✆ 04 72 76 73 53).
