The mountain has an orientation table at the top and a wooden tower made of local Douglas fir to see the horizon at 360°.
This highest point of the Rhône (1,012 m) can be reached by car or on foot via the GR7 which passes through the Champ-Juin pass. For several centuries, a chapel and a small monastery of monks of the Cluny order occupied its summit. A spring, known as the Pilgrims' Fountain, had the reputation of curing many ills, including female sterility. At the top of the mountain, an orientation table and a wooden tower made of local Douglas fir provide a 360° view. It will allow you to locate the different summits. Remarkable fauna and flora.
