THE PLUVY CASTLE

A building with a contrasting appearance, a barn that was transformed into a residence in the 12th century in Pomeys.
The building has a contrasting aspect, since the left wing seems foreign to the rest. It looks like a beautiful country house next to a lordly residence with its heavy ashlar structure, its machicolated keep and its massive square and crenellated tower. In the 12th century, the barn was transformed into a residence. The owners of the XIXth century will build in its place a small castle, many times renovated by Viollet-le-Duc. The 2 wings were to be rebuilt but only one was, hence the dissymmetry. Renting of 2 rooms for events.
