LE CANOTIER
With its unmissable terrace, La Canotier is a convivial restaurant where you can enjoy dishes with a fine wine list.
It's no lie to call it an "institution", as this riverside venue on the Saône was founded in the 1930s. For generations of Lyonnais, it was an authentic guinguette, a place to escape the urban heat and relax in a convivial atmosphere. The restaurant is run by chef Alexandre Gaillot-Drevon who, while perpetuating tradition, has brought Le Canotier up to date. The terrace is a must as soon as the weather warms up and you can enjoy other must-try dishes, such as fried smelts with tartar sauce or the famous frogs with garlic and parsley. Fresh desserts and a fine wine list prolong the pleasure of being in this enchanting setting.
