CHURCH
Church that brings together all the elements of the history of the village through the ages in Saint-Andéol-le-Château.
This building alone brings together all the elements of the village's history. Through the ages, different styles of construction have come together to form a harmonious whole: the Romanesque transept probably dates from the 10th or 11th century, the 12th century nave was enlarged in 1842, the Gothic choir dates from the 16th century and the sacristy is even older. The bell tower and its particular shape, the cross of the Compostela pilgrims, the decorations and the stained glass windows retrace the evolution of the village since the 10th century.
