Backed by 9 generations of family tradition and 250 years of history, Château Lacarelle in Saint-Etienne-des-Oullières is one of the oldest and most renowned wine estates in Beaujolais. Its 100 hectares of vines, part of which are organically grown, stretch over the renowned hillsides of Saint-Etienne-des-Oullières and produce red and white Beaujolais-Villages appellation wines that are regularly awarded distinctions. The estate also produces rosé bubbles and an excellent Crémant de Bourgogne from old vines. A gîte for up to 25 people is also available close to the château.
