CAVE BEAUJOLAISE DE SAINT-JULIEN
Located in the Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellation area, this cellar with 100 members produces 13 000 hl of wine. The cooperative cellar was created in 1986 by a handful of winegrowers wishing to pool their know-how to vinify their grapes under the best conditions. The first phase was built in 1988, the year of the first harvest. Designed in the shape of an octagon, the press room can be attached to 4 winemaking wings. In 25 years, the surface area of vines brought to the cellar has increased from 90 to 240 ha. The vines located in the communes of Saint-Julien, Blacé, Denicé and Vaux-en-Beaujolais offer, in the finished product, the characteristics of each terroir, from which fine and elegant wines full of charm are produced.
