ANTOINE BRUN MUSEUM
Museum Antoine Brun presenting models of this clog maker artist, who gives another dimension to our world.
Born in Saint-Consorce, Antoine Brun (1822-1900) inherited the family farm, but also devoted himself to his passion for wood. He began by making clogs, then models of Lyon. Encouraged by his results, he started making models of the great monuments of the world (St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, the White House, the Eiffel Tower, etc.), the models of which he drew from magazines. The Antoine Brun Museum presents 160 models of this "peasant clog maker artist" who gives another dimension to our world.
