The Grande Tuilerie du Rhône, located in Sainte-Foy-l'Argentière, has a huge storage area.
In the 18th century, the tile makers did everything by hand and moulded the tiles on their thighs. The Fenoyl family was at the origin, around 1880, of a mechanical tile factory which, developed later by the Balaÿ family, became the Grande Tuilerie du Rhône. Since then, it has continued to evolve and modernize. Today, when you arrive from the Loire on the RN89, you can see the huge storage area and the buildings of the Grande Tuilerie du Rhône, renamed Edilians.
