LAPIDARY MUSEUM OF THE ABBEY OF SAVIGNY
Museum with keystones, capitals, columns and the famous lintel of the Last Supper.
Destroyed during the Revolution, the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Martin de Savigny has marked the history of the Lyon region, over which it has shone since the year 817! Fortunately, Antoine Coquard, a resident of the village, has collected about sixty sculpted stones belonging to the former abbey. Keystones, capitals, columns and the famous lintel of the Last Supper are gathered in this little opened museum, but so precious. Guided tours to discover this heritage.
