This church of neo-Byzantine style, typical of the 19th century, houses an organ classified as a historical monument.
In neo-Byzantine style, typical of the 19th century, this building is the work of Sainte-Marie Perrin, co-architect of Notre-Dame de Fourvière. Its pink-red colour comes from a granite quarry in Thizy. This church houses an organ classified as a historical monument. The origins of this superb organ - 1,202 pipes - date back to the 18th century, built by the organ builder Karl Joseph Riepp for the Bernardine convent in Dôle. It was transferred to the Chapel of Charity in Lyon, before arriving at the parish of Notre-Dame de Thizy in 1935.
