The primitive church, which was only a chapel, dates back to 1225, but was destroyed in 1826 to leave the present. It houses magnificent stained glass windows of the master glass Baron, Mauvernay and Dufêtre. The sixteen bays, representing the art of stained glass in the th century, are listed in the Supplementary Historical Monuments Inventory. The church is open daily from 8 am to 18 pm. Its stained glass windows, its large organs to twelve real games and the statue of the Virgin attributed to the sculptor Fabich are remarkable (Place de la Resistance).
