How many stills are still in operation for traditional distillation in our countryside? Vourles has had a still since 1923, when the distilling cooperative was created. Vourles distillers produced grape marc and fruit brandy: plums, pears, apricots... depending on the year's production. In 2004, the renovated still was placed in a restored stone house opposite the town hall. You can admire the old press and its squirrel wheel. Group tours by appointment.
