Father of the parish of Vourles for 37 years, Father Louis Querbes (1793-1859) founded the clerics of Saint-Viateur in 1831, a religious congregation responsible for the teaching and education of young people (catechesis and liturgy). It has a thousand members in 15 countries. Father Querbes established his first novitiate in 1838 and the museum now recounts his life and the history of the congregation.
