ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHAPEL
Chapel of the XIth century with a square apse, a nave with 3 bays with groin vaults and a choir vaulted in barrel vault.
In the old village of Châteauvieux, the 11th century chapel stands in an exceptional site. In a very pure Romanesque style, it has a square apse, a nave with 3 bays and groin vaults and a choir with a barrel vault above which rises the dome supported by a series of arches in successive steps. At the entrance, an astonishing two-bowl stoup. At the corner of the old cemetery, you can admire a very old cross (called Byzantine).
