LA FROMAGERIE VAL D'AILLON
It is open to the public every day, including public holidays, from 9am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm. The cheese dairy features a museographic area called "Secrets de Fruitière", where visitors can wander freely and discover the world of cheese and agriculture through commented frescoes, games and fun questionnaires. Visitors can also take part in guided tours of the museum area, followed by a tasting of raw-milk cheeses. Educational workshops are also offered, where participants can become apprentice cheese-makers and make Tome des Bauges and beurre de baratte. For a more complete experience, it's possible to book a full day including a visit to a cattle farm, a picnic and a Tome des Bauges and butter-making workshop.
