Everyone knows that a good baker in a village makes all the difference! In the Bauges massif, in Arith (less than 500 inhabitants), a baker craftsman works above the lot. These Baujus are very lucky! Because Pierre Lheureux excels in the art of kneading good bread, white, wholemeal, special... but also pizzas... He has all the talents and homemade pastries and pastries to enjoy with his eyes closed... Baking with wood fire, passion for a job well done, taste and quality products... Even the experts in the Gault & Millau gastronomic guide were under the charm of his products and his welcome last year. A former grocery store that became a bakery in 2016, when Bouboule set up his business, he had a large mouth oven made entirely of stone and wood built in the centre of the bakery, created by Mr. Voisin, a specialized craftsman. 10 m2 of baking for its flutes, traditional baguettes, tortillas, cakes... and Arith bread, country bread created with the complicity of the flour mill. A smiling welcome, a warm atmosphere and good bread! I know some who come from far away or who make a big detour to go to Bouboule's to get their supplies!
