Cheese dairy also present in Lanslebourg and Modane. In season: Aussois, Lanslevillard, Termignon and Bonneval-sur-Arc.

The Bessans cheese factory remains the heart of the village's agricultural activity. The Haute-Maurienne Vanoise dairy cooperative took over its management in 2008. It includes 40 farms in Haute-Maurienne, including 5 in Bessans. It transforms raw milk into Beaufort and Bonneval-sur-Arc blue cheese. Butter, raw milk, fresh cream and farm products made in Haute-Maurienne: goat's and sheep's cheeses, farm yoghurts, as well as a range of Savoy products.

Service agréable. Choix correcte de fromages. Nous avons acheté du bleu de Termignon (Bleu de Bessans) et de la Tome à des prix correctes et de bonne qualité. Des Crozets et différentes confitures sont vendues aussi dans cette fromagerie.
