DOMAINE CHEVALLIER-BERNARD
It is around Jongieux and more precisely west of the Lac du Bourget that Chantal and Jean-Pierre Bernard have been running their 13 ha vineyard since 1996, where they were joined in 2016 by their son Antoine. Certified in sustainable agriculture, the vineyard obtained the High Environmental Value certification at the end of 2016, and the grape varieties jacquère, altesse, chardonnay, gamay and mondeuse present in this vineyard are worked with the greatest respect for biodiversity. In their vinification cellar, they have produced a very successful Gamay 2004, with red fruit aromas, to be expected for its full harmony, as well as a Savoy Marestel dogfish, in the same vintage, matured on fine lees. An award-winning palette.
