Restaurant offering seafood specialties, local vegetables and small take-away meals.

A rendezvous for old seafarers, this restaurant makes no bones about the freshness of its produce! Specialties include fresh fish court-bouillon cooked Créole-style, homemade stuffed crabs, fresh lobster from the fish tank served with a gratin of local vegetables, and shrimp fricassee. And when Monsieur Cantinol receives sea urchins, regulars travel all the way from the island to taste them! For those who prefer to enjoy these little dishes at home, a takeaway service is available.

We had booked a table for 5 on Thursday, May 8, 2014. When we arrived, the owner tells us that it would have cancelled our reservation had it had our information, because it had had many people at lunchtime and has no more staff.
Cà is already in the atmosphere.
It tells us then that you will need for us to be patient because it serves both the cuisine and the service, and on this point, he was not wrong! , About a half - hour to wait before aperitif served without a word or a smile.
We did not have all dishes at the same time. About fifteen minutes well between the first dish and others.
We opted for lobsters in the fish tank and pensions to treat us! It was from there. The langouses were including hard stone and tasteless.
I remain convinced that served to us the lobster which had been frozen and not those who we had chosen in the tank.
Everything for a sweet touch enough and in any case completely unjustified compared to the quality of food served meal!
It was our last evening in Martinique, and it really is not the best souvenir than we keep!
Unfortunately, the martiniquais are very welcoming but we had to find an exceptional!
