ANSE DUFOUR ET ANSE NOIRE

Yin and yang: Anse Noire and its expanse of dark volcanic sand contrasts with the whiteness of Anse Dufour.
Anse Dufour is a small, unspoilt cove where you'll come across a few fishermen hauling in their nets. With a mask and snorkel, divers and snorkelers alike can admire the bay's resident turtles. To the right of the golden sands of Anse Dufour, behind a rocky promontory, lies Anse Noire, with its black sand and fringe of coconut palms. With its wooden pontoon and translucent waters, this is undoubtedly one of the island's most spectacular beaches.
