In the little alley alongside the church of Saint-Henri, in the heart of the village of Anses-d'Arlet, Panier Madras is a pretty yellow and green Creole hut just a stone's throw from the sea. The store offers a selection of fruits, vegetables and péyi seeds (mainly from Martinique, sometimes from elsewhere), as well as drinks and other nibbles before heading to the nearby beach. On Sundays, you can even buy homemade boudins, whose reputation has taken the village by storm. We highly recommend them.
