Church with a decrepit yellow façade, locally called San Francisquito because of its construction
This charming church, with its damaged yellow facade, is locally known as San Francisquito because it was built at the request of local residents in the 17th century to replace the ruined San Francisco convent. The area, which was regularly targeted by pirate attacks, was later excluded from the fortifications. There are 5 small altarpieces worth a look. The adjoining former convent is now home to the town's cultural institute.
