Housed in an old house in the center of Mérida, this Italian restaurant combines elegance and originality. Its chic, industrial decor is matched by an inventive cuisine with a few surprises in store, such as fried lasagne, crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Carbonara and risotto classics are also on the menu, though it's constantly reinvented to offer an ever-renewed, seasonal culinary experience. Wij hadden een reservering, maar werden bovenin op een sfeerloze vide weggezet. De pasta was lekker, maar niet bijzonder en vrij weinig voor de prijzen die gevraagd worden. Ik vond het de prijs niet waard.

I received a recommendation to Oliva for dinner. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and very fluent in English which helped a great deal as he described the wines. We were seated at a table in the intimate bar area which was perfect. Our server was focused on three tables only and was extremely attentive. The food and the atmosphere was terrific !!!! Thank you .
