Sure, it's outside the city center, but it's pretty fabulous. Chef Pedro Evia, a native of Mérida, and his sidekick Eduardo Rukos, have transformed their restaurant into a veritable laboratory! The cuisine is conceptual and avant-garde, with an emphasis on local ingredients. The menu is ever-changing and seasonal. Spectacular plates and astonishing flavor combinations, like the pumpkin purée and sunflower trompe-l'oeil mole. The Kii'Wiik Café also offers more affordable breakfasts.
