Mérida offers itself a cultural bath during 3 weeks at the beginning of autumn: cinema, music, dance, theatre, visual arts...

Created in 1983, this festival was conceived as a showcase for the region's many artistic and cultural expressions. For three weeks, hundreds of artists from all disciplines gather at various venues in the historic center of Mérida to offer spectators a real cultural experience in early autumn. Cinema, music, dance, theater, visual arts... There's something for everyone, and the atmosphere is very festive. Not to be missed if you're in the area at this time of year, even if you don't speak Spanish.
