MUSEO FERNANDO GARCIA PONCE - MACAY
Palace that is now a space dedicated to the dissemination of modern and contemporary art in Merida
The Archbishop's Palace, in French neoclassical style, located practically against the side of the cathedral, is today a space dedicated to the diffusion of modern and contemporary art. The museum has four permanent exhibition rooms where the works of three great Yucatan artists, Fernando Castro Pacheco, Fernando García Ponce and Gabriel Ramírez Aznar, are displayed, and fifteen rooms whose temporary exhibitions are renewed every three months.
