CASA DE LOS VENADOS
A large colonial house housing a collection dedicated to Mexican folk art, with a total of 3,000 pieces
Casa de Los Venados, the Deer House, is a large colonial house owned by a North American couple, John and Dorianne Venator. The private property houses a handicraft collection dedicated to Mexican folk art, comprising over 3,000 pieces in all. Some of the objects are truly magnificent. To share their passion and introduce their collection to the public, John and Dorianne have set up guided tours in Spanish and English, which don't necessarily require prior reservation.
