Instinctively, we wouldn't stop at this small, family-run restaurant with its non-existent decor... And we'd be wrong! For a true immersion in traditional Yucatán cuisine, this is the place to come. A trip to the peninsula wouldn't be complete without a taste of queso relleno, cheese balls stuffed with minced meat, or sopa de lima, a chicken broth with lime and chili pepper. Note that the establishment closes at 8pm, so plan your visit for lunch or an early dinner.
