Archaeological complex composed of ruins of a little imposing temple, overlooking the Caribbean Sea in Cancun.
This archaeological complex is composed of ruins of a little imposing temple, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It is also called "Temple of the Scorpion" because a zoomorphic representation of a scorpion was discovered inside. The structures were probably used as a lighthouse or an observation tower. The site, close to Marlín beach, can be visited quickly. It can be reached by walking about 700 meters to a field separating the Park Royal Hotel and the Westin Lagunamar.
