A must in the heart of Playa, as much for the setting as for the small dishes that are happily served at all hours. Here, it's traditional cuisine with a pre-Hispanic accent: cream of beans, pork in tamarind sauce, pepper stuffed with shrimp in peanut sauce and lemon charlotte for dessert. On Sundays, they serve a memorable barbacoa de borrego (stewed mutton). Remember to fill up on pulque (fermented drink) and mezcal before you leave.
